#AiExplore: Christmas at Tokyo Disneyland

As much as I would like to reach out to more people around the world, I feel like I couldn't better express myself other than in the language I'm most comfortable speaking with which is TagLish (Tagalog and English) that's why I'd like to start writing on my blog in this way too. Also, this way, I feel like I'm adding a more personal touch with my posts since this is really how I speak. However, for my future collaborations with international brands/companies, of course, I'd have to write them in English. So let me start by sharing my holiday trip in Japan! ♥

Visiting Disneyland is one thing. But spending Christmas in the happiest place on earth is another thing. It's my third time in Japan, and yet the excitement is still there. Super ganda, malinis and disiplinado sa Japan, kaya I swear magugustuhan niyo. :)

When we first visited Japan back in 2013, winter season din yun. However, sa Nagoya kami nag stay and we haven't got the chance to visit Tokyo. Kaya last year, super excited din talaga kami especially sa Disneyland. Kasi syempre winter and Christmas season yun so iba na naman yung theme nila as well as ng mga parades and shows. Haha.

Just a little background...
(REWIND!)

To be honest, I wasn't really prepared for our trip kahit almost half a year na yun na-book. Financially prepared? Nope. OOTD preparations? Nope nope. For some reason, siguro super nag laid back din ako last year, thinking na si Lord na bahala sa akin. But that doesn't mean na literal na wala kang ginagawa ah, but I just opt to surrender everything to Him and let Him be in full control, if you know what I mean. ♥ November 2017, I was contacted by two international clothing brands to have a collaboration with them. I get to choose any items I want from their brand with a specific amount in which hanggang dun lang yung pwede ko i-spend. And yep, that's for free. I chose a few sweaters, a pair of boots, and the rest accessories na. Know more about it on my previous Lookbook post! (Click HERE) Stress girl! As expected, a day before our trip, wala pa din talaga. So dun na ko nag start na mag plan ng outfits ko from my wardrobe alone. Take note, wala akong biniling bagong sweaters aside from the ones I received on my birthday from my sisters, my mom and the Moriyyys (my aunt and cousins). Good thing na rin na madami dami pa kong sweaters and coats na ginamit ko sa Colorado before. Yun nga lang, wala na kong boots, as in kahit isang pair wala. Super stressful yon since winter time teh tas wala kang boots? Lakas ng loob! Haha. Even before that very day, I was really praying about this trip, and like I said, sabi ko talaga, "Lord, kayo na pong bahala sa susuotin ko and sa pocket money ko. Thank you in advance for I know na hindi niyo po ako pababayaan." -- Thanking Him in advance is called FAITH, and thanking Him after you have received it is GRATITUDE. So kahit nakakastress and kinakabahan ako, I trusted Him because I know that He got this! ♥

And as for my pocket money, wala talaga kong na-save for the trip, last minute, naisip ko na magpa-withdraw sa dad ko from my savings, and that's it. I know na provided pa din yun ni Lord para sakin kasi ever since, ayaw ko na talaga galawin yun. But during that time, I felt like in a way God made me feel na it's okay to use it, money ko din naman yun, and besides, Christmas naman, na okay lang na i-treat ko din naman yung sarili ko. (Sorry if napahaba yung intro before DAY 1)

DAY 1

After that stressful night of packing and preparing for this trip, finally, nakarating na din ulit in Japan with my slip-ons. Haha! Oh diba bidang bida kita pa ang socks! (Third photo after this paragraph) Actually, nago-offer yung parents ko na ibili ako ng boots once we get there. But of course, hindi na naman ako estudyante para magpabili, and kahit nung estudyante pa ako, di naman talaga ko nagpapabili ng kahit ano, as in, aside from food. Kakahiya kaya! So sabi ko keri lang talaga. And ayun, when we got there, we had our brunch sa buffet restaurant care of my tito and tita na vinisit namin sa Japan. Thank you po!! :)

DAY 2

The next day, Disneyland na agad! Yes, agad agad. Si tita, since size 7 din siya pero sumasakit paa niya sa boots, sabi niya ako daw muna mag suot non since may extra pa siyang boots na mas comfy siya. (Fast forward: Nag decide siya na bumili na lang ng bago na magagamit niya pang snow, so binenta niya samin yung boots for me. And my parents paid for it! Kahiyaaa! Christmas gift na daw! Haha) I'll have a separate post for my OOTDs, though konting photos lang naman yun. Stay tuned pa din! ♥

Anyway, as usual, we took the train going to Disneyland. Kahit san naman kami mag punta train train lang as long as may wifi ka pang google maps, keri na. This time, hindi kami gaano nakapag rides since priority din namin is to watch the parade and makapag picture, unlike last time na super go lang sa mga rides and pa-picture with the Disney characters. This time ang naging goal din kasi namin is kahit papano maikot yung Disneyland hangga't kaya namin, kahit nakakapagod and malamig!

Nung lunch time na, this is what I got, burger steak nila. Sarap grabe! Haha.

But if first time mo sa Disneyland, worth the wait, pagod and pakikipag siksikan sa train yun! ;)

Nonetheless, I couldn't express how grateful I am for this beautiful blessing to spend time with my loved ones in one of our most favorite places on earth! Thank you, Lord, for everything! Thank you that even though things didn't come my way as I expected, You still made a way to help me get through the things that had been stressing me out such as my pocket money and a pair of boots. I know it's you, Lord. You and you're unexpected ways. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and warm during the entire trip! Hahaha!

Stay tuned for my next Japan travel post!!!

May tips din dun and what to expect. :)

If may questions kayo, I'd be happy to help! As long as familiar ako, or alam ng sisters ko. Haha! Sila ang taga book at navigate! Hihi.
