As a petite girl, I have always avoided wearing maxi dresses and skirts because I’m worried about how I’ll look. I’m not sure if it will suit me or not as I feel like it will just make me appear even shorter. My height has always been one of my insecurities, but I’m glad that I’m slowly learning to embrace it — just one of my features which I have always considered as my flaw. With God’s grace, in a way, I now learned to appreciate it since it’s what the Lord has given me. If I’m about to try on some maxi dresses I’d love to wear these from Rosegal.
This elegant evening dress is perfect for formal occasions. It is made from rayon material as well as lace fabric which makes it more classy. I definitely see myself wearing this with a pair of silver high heels, and an up-do hairstyle similar in the photo. Its simplicity and elegance make it more stunning.
For some casual evening occasions, I’d love to wear something like this which seems comfy except for the plunging neckline which I often avoid. I’d probably wear an inner garment to cover up my cleavage. I also love its slit which looks sexy yet its length and sleeves were long enough so as to not make it appear so daring. I’d love to wear it with either a black or nude pumps as well as a mini sling purse. Messy sexy curls would also look so beautiful with this dress.
This floral off-shoulder dress is just so sexy yet still look so modest. I’m a big fan of off-shoulder tops since I love to show-off my collarbone without getting too much attention. As much I love to look good especially with my outfit, I just hate getting unnecessary attention just because I’m showing off too much skin. It looks perfect with this nude high heels, and probably a cream-colored purse too. Since my hair’s medium length, simple and light curls would look good with this outfit and put it up in a half ponytail. This is perfect to wear on birthday parties as well as some other daytime events which require you to wear something dressy without getting overdressed.
I’d most likely wear this dress on a garden wedding, formal birthday parties and other daytime special events. Plain and bold dresses are so easy to style with most, especially on formal affairs. With plain ones, all you have to do is to style it with elegant accessories and you’re good to go.
